Hit Systems

If you run your own business, then you have to have some IT department or at least some IT knowledge. Many small and mid-sized business owners choose to outsource this - which is completely understandable for businesses that are not computer or internet -centric - but doing so often comes with compromise. As my business is very small, but Web-centric, I am barely able to get away with outsourcing this aspect; of course, I simply cannot afford my own server - few of us can - nor the costs associated with it. And until I get more traffic - much, much more traffic - I simply do not need it. This is the case for most businesses - even those involving the Net.

Shared servers and hosting companies have all sorts of problems. If you need to be able to access your business site at any time, you simply cannot afford to go with a shared hosting service. Further, laptops and removable media aside, in a perfect world, you would be able to access your business desktop from any computer - not just your business documents or applications, but (basically) your entire work environment. Again, it is possible to do this on a fraction of the necessary budget, but not without incredible compromise - and one of those compromises is going to be the resources you put into developing that system.

Hit Systems is an IT company which brings together IT Hosted Systems and Support to bring you comprehensive IT Solutions. If you still aren't sure what all this means, I invite you to take a quick surf around their site. There, you can run through a demo of their services, talk to a customer rep, and read more about what all they offer.

Do not compromise your IT department, but by the same token, don't overextend yourself by trying to do more than you can handle (or even know how to do !). Follow the link provided to find out how Hit Systems can help you.
