Business

You know, not for nothing, the title of this post should be pronounced "busy"-ness, which (when correctly conjugated) becomes business. Neat stuff, this etymology o' words, but I just wanted to note that in this instance, it's a verb, not a noun. And no, nonsense like this is not what I've been busy with.

The backup box crashed the other night when I tried to install a scanner. I had to drop everything and do a fresh install - which it really needed - and that took two, whole days (still tweaking it, in fact). All I've done is that sponsored post before this and the network for which I did it doesn't want to pay me for it because their system screwed it up. But they will pay me, because they're going to regret it if they don't.

I'm writing you this from the couch, where I can finally work when my neck and back just won't let me sit at the desk any longer. Hopefully, this means we'll be getting back to business as usual, but my health has deteriorated so in the last few years that it may never be the same. Still, it definitely means there will be fewer long spates of inactivity.

I'm still tweaking things, so bear with me for a little while longer, but I'll have a slew of stuff to post the next several days.
