Growing-up, my parents owned a collectibles store. Due to the nature of the business and the area in which the store was located, we had to have an alarm. As soon as the alarm was installed, we got a call in the wee morning hours and had to race to the store! No one was there and there were no signs of entry or attempted entry. This happened three more times before we realized that a hanging display was tripping the alarm when the AC kicked-on! We moved the display and the alarm company sent a representative out to adjust the settings. The next time the alarm went off in the early morning hours, it was because someone had actually broken-in!

If you run a retail business selling products - and maybe even if you only sell services - then commercial security has to be a priority. The monthly cost is negligible when compared to the financial loss you and your business stand to suffer without one! Installation is quick and easy and there is no need to close your business while techs work. Further, if you pay insurance on your business, you may be able to get a lower rate once you install a security system! Don't put it off - a single theft could wipe-out some businesses!
