UFOs & Aliens on Roku

Roku has a new channel featuring reports of aliens and UFOs.  I have not actually sampled the channel myself, though I do have access to it, as I was excited enough to share the information first. You can find the new channel in your Channel Store under "Special Interests." To add it, simply click on the channel and select "Add Channel."

Roku is basically a router/modem for your TV which allows you to view Internet stations on your TV. It is available at most general stores for around $60 as well as online.

Golems Found in Scotland

Mummies made from the skeletal body parts of several babies have been found in Scotland. Experts believe the mummies were created as part of some kind of burial ritual. They were painstakingly preserved by soaking them in one of the peat moss bogs surrounding the area for up to a year or more before being buried. The mummies were over 3,000 years old.

The Goat is the Word

Two goats are wowing California beachgoers with their surfing skills since owner Dana McGregor taught them the skill. Goatee and Pismo surfed together and separately for onlookers at California's San Onofre State Beach a few days ago. You can see pictures of the goats in action here.

McGregor says he originally got Goatee, a nanny goat, to eat unwanted plants from his property. He began taking her to the beach and teaching her to surf. He then taught Pismo, Goatee's billy, shortly after he was born.

Internet Troubles

I have been having an intermittent signal since May. After about a dozen calls to tech support, they finally sent a technician out who suggested I switch from a regular modem (which I've been using for three years now) with a router to a wireless one. The very next day, the troubles started again.

This time, they said they changed the port that services my home. They also suggested I had "a stack of tickets dating back to January." I was taken aback, since I've only noticed this issue since May. I called the customer support and they informed me that there were two tickets before May, and about 10 or so since May. They were giving me the "problem customer" speech and I wasn't having it.

So far, things really have been better; I haven't noticed the signal dropping since the change, so maybe this really will solve my problem (he said hopefully). This should also mean more posts. It was really hard to post when the signal was on again, off again. I should have posted about this before now, but it was so touch and go that I didn't really know what to say. Honestly, no one seems to know what the problem is to this day, so there's no way of knowing whether or not it has been rectified until it starts again... or (hopefully) doesn't.
