FLEA INFESTATION

Anyone have any hints, tips, or tricks on how to rid your home of fleas?

Thanks.

  1. Make sure all animals have been treated with flea medication.
Then vacuum, clean, vacuum, clean, vacuum again. The best way to get rid of infestation is continual cleaning and especially vacuuming--young fleas may be hatching in your carpets for weeks after you've applied flea meds.

You can do bug bombs and such, but they're really more trouble than they're worth.

We have seven cats, so flea infestation happens to us at least once a year.

  2. Thanks Lewis! It sounds trite or whatever, but it really was like one flea here, another flea there - THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF FLEAS EVERYWHERE!

I got Scamper a flea collar and some drops for his ears and am vacuuming at least once a day, including the couch.

    Thanks again!

  3. I found this site while writing about Wonky, the new cat. Figured I'd share with everyone. Thanks, Zemanta!
