When an officer was summoned to a house in Casper, Wyoming to shoo off a "big cat," he didn't think much about it.
Though the dispatcher reported the animal as a housecat, the officer ran for cover when he discovered an adult male mountain lion laying on the woman's porch! Weighing-in at about 90 pounds, the cat hissed at the woman when she first came home, but she said she was not scared. She simply called 911.
The cat was tranquilized and moved.
