A California chef admitted to police that he boiled his wife's corpse in a pot for four days straight then disposed of the remains in a grease pit outside his restaurant. The only thing left was the skull which he claims to have hidden in his mother's attic, though police searched the area and found nothing.
David Viens says he and his wife were doing cocaine all night long and she became manic, so he duct taped her mouth and hands to keep her from leaving the home and went back to bed. When he woke up the next morning, she was "hard." He panicked and disposed of her body.
Viens was a suspect in the woman's disappearance but police has no evidence with which to charge him. But the chef then leapt off an 80-foot cliff and survived the fall. He gave his strange confession while under the influence of pain killers but it was confirmed by his daughter and girlfriend.
