Residents of Koscierzyna in Poland were shocked when blood began flowing from manhole covers in the middle of the streets. The blood apparently came from a local meat processing plant, but no one is sure how the blood escaped the plant. It has since been washed from the streets and whatever caused the leak appears to have been corrected.
