I got that "published with errors" bit on the last post for some reason, but the connection has been wonky most of today, so it probably has something to do with that.
Anyway, that's not why I'm writing. I'm writing because I wanted to point-out how you can access earlier posts through the archives in the sidebar. For no good reason, Blogger blogs not hosted on BlogSpot do not have the "Older Posts" and "Newer Posts" buttons at the end of the pages, and there's no code/widget for installing them. Since I found several posts concerning this across the boards and through Google, it's possible that Blogger will one day fix this, but there's no way to know.
Technically, there has to be some way I could personally code something as a workaround, but I have a feeling it would be far more trouble than it's worth. If I had some help with the site, it might be worth it to at least attempt, but seeing as how I'm the only one who does that stuff, I simply don't have the time to mess with it right now.
I am going to try and work on The Speakeasy at least a little tonight and throughout the week, but I do have some personal stuff to deal with. For one thing, the car won't start and absolutely no one has any idea why. It doesn't make any sort of noise and it doesn't act like anything anyone's seen before; the best anyone can come up with is that there may be some kind of short in a cable going to or from the starter or something. Obviously, I'm no mechanic.
But there has been a dearth of good paranormal news lately and I am champing at the bit to get something up here, so I'm going to devote tomorrow to finding some new stuff and/or go through some of the books to find some good accounts to report on. I miss some good ol' paranormal patter to chat about.
