When Sandy Harvey noticed her miniature poodle, Martini, not breathing on the floor, she scooped her up and carried her upstairs where her husband was working out with his Oxygen tube.
Wes Harvey had her hold the tube to Tini's nose while he performed CPR. After several minutes, Tini's lips were pink, but when they stopped CPR, her heart stopped. After several more minutes, her heart beat on its own; after 45 minutes, Tini tried to sit up on her own.
Now, although her personality is severely altered, Tini is alive. She is not as playful, she no longer chews rawhide, and she does not bark, but this past summer, Tini wagged her tail for the first time since her near-death experience.
